False alarms are a major problem in the alarm industry. See www.faraonline.org for more information. Your alarm panel is configured to send signals to a central monitoring station. Some alarm companies program your panel to send in fewer signals saving them money on their monitoring bill, but potentially making it more likely that your alarm central station may dispatch on a false alarm. TCI Security programs your alarm panel to send: daily 24 hour test signals, all openings and closing, restores, cancels, low battery, power outages and supervisory signals.
